　　Job Function:

　　To provide a positive role model of community functioning, informal counseling, peer support and ADL training in a licensed residential program providing transitional housing to people with psychiatric disabilities.

　　Qualifications:

　　A personal or shared experience with a medical illness or substance abuse issues. Ability and desire to assist others in the mastery of independent living skills and the personal recovery process. Understanding of peer support, self-help philosophy. Clean valid NYS driver's license.Pre employment: Fingerprinting and criminal record check is required to obtain approval form the NYS State Office of Mental Health.
