RSP is looking for Architects preferably with DOD experience, specifically with USACE Districts, NAVFAC Divisions, Air Force Installations, and other federal agencies. The Architect will lead the preparation of plans, drawings, details, and specifications in accordance with client design standards and guidelines. Must be able to provide design redlines and clear direction to supporting Job Captains. This position can be located in Seattle, WA, Minneapolis, MN, Phoenix, AZ or Fort Worth, TX. RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE: Work with senior RSP Government Team staff to respond to project and program requirements Understanding the level of effort and hours for given tasks on project(s) Work with Project Managers to develop project delivery schedules, fees, and staffing plans Maintaining and strengthening relationships with federal clients Able to research and implement government policies and procedures, UFC's, guidance documents, regulations, design guides, etc. Understand and prepare architectural detailing required for construction documents Travel to project sites and/or client meetings, as required Lead internal and client project presentations requiring presentation and positive interaction with diverse set of project stakeholders Participate in technical discussions with contractor, consultants, projects teams, and clients Respond to plan review comments, construction submittals, and request for information WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Registered U.S. State architectural license required 7+ years of professional experience in an Architectural or A/E firm Demonstrated success in leading a multi-discipline project delivery team Demonstrated ability to integrate and manage a wide range of project consultants Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient use of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite required Experience with DOD, USACE or NAVFAC a plus LEED AP BD+C a plus Prior participation in SAME Post, Regional, and National activities a plus If you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, or are limited in the ability or unable to access or use this online application process and need an alternative method for applying, you may contact (612) 677-7100 or [email protected] for assistance.
