DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment, power supply and lighting systems, fire alarm systems, traffic light controls, carbon monoxide analyzing systems, and tunnel ventilation fans. Responsibilities include cleaning and lubricating ventilation fan motors, bearings, dampers, and drive units, as well as conducting mechanical repairs, adjustments, and part replacements. The role also involves installing electrical devices, fixtures, cables, and conduits in accordance with industry standards and codes. Additionally, the position includes servicing and maintaining detection and recording devices, setting up traffic patterns using cones, drums, signs, shadow trucks, and flashing arrows for work-zone protection, and working on low-voltage control circuits and high-voltage systems. The role also entails servicing and cleaning tunnel light fixtures, including re-lamping, ballast and socket fixture repair, rewiring, and replacement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employmentWork hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Rotating Shift work due to 24/7 operations.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Five years of journey-level experience in the electrical trade; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.
