Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in our service industry team located in Humble, Texas. The role involves manual labor tasks associated with maintaining and organizing IT storage rooms, managing equipment, and handling IT asset management tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing IT storage rooms and ensuring the proper arrangement of equipment

• Handling the movement of equipment as required

• Assisting in the cleaning of IT Storage Rooms to maintain a conducive work environment

• Safely putting equipment on pallets and boxing equipment for storage or transportation

• Removing hard drives from computers and servers with care and precision

• Creating detailed spreadsheets to track serial numbers and total equipment for inventory management

• Using Microsoft Excel for data input and management of records

• Ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines while performing manual labor tasks

• Coordinating with the team to ensure smooth operations within the storage rooms

• Managing IT assets and ensuring they are well maintained and accounted for. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Must have experience in IT asset management

• Knowledge of Desktop Hardware is essential

• Experience in a service industry is highly desirable

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Knowledge of standard software and hardware systems

• Experience in PC repair and maintenance

• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
