The primary responsibilityof the Assistant Property Manager is to assist the property manager withthe daily operations of the community by coordinating the marketing,rental, and occupancy along with a strong focus on customer service andcommunity relations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Compliance Prepares allresident files to include all preparatory paperwork. Sets upappointments for lease signings and follows through with all appropriatepaperwork. Prepares all move-out material for property manager. Preparescopies of all materials to be sent for government compliance. Maintainscompliance reporting information monthly. Prepares completed move-inpackets and maintains a supply of all pertinent materials. Entersmarketing information, installs resident, enters vacate notices, printsreports on YARDI computer program. Assists with subsidy administrationin accordance with HUD rules and regulations. Financial Collects rentpayments and makes bank deposits on a daily basis. Assists propertymanager in making purchases in accordance with budget specifications andguidelines. Tracks budget variances and brings those variances to theattention of the property manager. Sends notices and makes phone callsfor any late rent. Property Management Makes appointments, showsapartments, takes and verifies applications to completion.
