Job Summary Ensure thatall contractual and regulatory quality requirements are defined andcommunicated on assigned customers and programs. Support all departmentsto ensure control of receiving, in-process and final quality of product.Recommend more efficient and quality-oriented processes Provide customerinterface on quality issues and problem resolution Collaborate withsales, purchasing, production, quoting and contract management toestablish quality procedures for meeting customer requirements.Interface with suppliers to correct problems dealing with purchasedmaterials. Provide support to manufacturing including root causeanalysis and corrective and preventive actions to resolve problems inproduct manufactured. Assist in defining and monitoring the qualitymanagement system and in developing an organizational culture thatstresses quality processes. Assist in monitoring personnel and processesto ensure compliance with company guidelines, policies and procedures.Provide daily leadership and direction to employees. Train, advise, andcounsel employees on work processes and procedures as well as companypolicies Regulate work flow to ensure maximum use of capacity andefficiency within department Ensure project and assignments remainconsistent with company practices, policies, and regulations (forexample: SOX, OSHA, Management System Standards) Interact and supportall internal and external customers and set standards that promote goodrelations and communication Research and troubleshoot problems andcorrective actions to allow continuous improvement Promote the conceptof individual responsibility for quality work and workmanship standardsTrack and monitor departmental performance objectives Participate inperiodic audits to ensure compliance to company...
