Job Description

　　Insight Global's client is looking for a Protection and Controls Substation Engineer. The candidate will be working with a team to complete P&C substation design projects while adhering to client specifications, standards, and practices. They will be responsible for creating detailed designs for one-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials. Doing calculations, specifications, reports, plans, and drawings. They will coordinate, prepare, and check calculations, specifications, reports, design details, plans, and drawings within assigned task areas. Additionally, they will be involved in the QA/QC side of the house and assist with design checks. The types of projects will include Greenfields, brownfields, retrofits, upgrades, etc. for all major projects. Most projects will be for high voltage design, up to 500kV.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　· 3+ years of experience, specifically within Protection and Controls design (relays, switches, metering, schematics wiring, etc.)

　　 · Experience designing for 69kV to 500kV substations

　　Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) · PE License

　　 · Willingness to relocate to the Chattanooga, TN area (relocation assistance is provided) null
