　　Robert Half is partnering with an established company in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area who has an opening for a Payroll Clerk who will support the Payroll department in a variety of duties. This is a challenging position with an industry leader, where a self-starter can find strong career growth opportunity. The position seeks a candidate who is skilled in communicating with both the internal team and outside customers while being part of a dynamic, fast-growing team. As the Payroll Clerk you will work in a call center environment, answering questions regarding time cards, and making adjustments. The Payroll Clerk will tackle challenges in data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. 　　Your responsibilities as a Payroll Clerk:

　　-Answer inbound phone calls and act as the main point of contact regarding payroll-related best practices

　　Reach out to employees via phone and email to obtain timesheet approvals

　　Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

　　Construct and run custom reports

　　Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

　　-Understand labor policies and Federal and State wage and hour laws

　　Requirements

　　Previous payroll or Timekeeping experience -Call center customer service experience (1-3 years relevant experience)

　　Strong time management and organizational skills

　　Eagerness to master new systems

　　Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Problem solving and research information

　　-Experience working within CRM and WorkDay
