  Summary These positions are located at Recreation Division-Sprocket Automotive Craft Center. Eligible for participation in the NAF Benefits program and leave accrual. Responsibilities Responsible for the operation of the quarterly NAF vehicle auctions and liaison between auction house and DFMWR management. Assist with the maintenance of the grounds. Performs a variety of administrative and clerical functions including, but not limited to typing and computer work. Assist in storage functions to include signing customers up for new accounts, receive payments update customer’s information terminate storage accounts and send out monthly bill. Sign up customers for the POV automotive sales lot. Submit Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) on a monthly basis ensuring accounts are paid and up to date. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Progressively responsible clerical experience. 2. Computer knowledge and experience in database, spreadsheets, word processing programs. 3. Experience in handling monetary transactions.4. Must possess good communication and customer skills. 5. Knowledge of automotive repair order and billing systems.6. Must possess a valid driver's license. Highly Preferred Criteria NOTE: Applicants who met both minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first. To be evaluated as a highly preferred candidate, your resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the highly qualified criteria above. 1. One year experience cleaning out vehicles, operate a forklift to move automobiles around the storage yard and work in the heat and cold. 2. One year of experience being responsible for the daily in-processing and inspecting abandoned vehicles towed into a vehicle yard. 3. One year being responsible of the tracking and reporting of all statistical data pertaining to the abandoned vehicle/ auction program. 4. One year being responsible for the operation of Abandoned Vehicle Auction. 5. One year experience assisting with clean-up and the maintenance of grounds, to include mowing, trimming. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized are not negotiable, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
