Description

　　Robert Half Buffalo is continuously seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Clerks for ongoing opportunities. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing support to the finance and HR departments.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.

　　Calculate and process payroll adjustments, deductions, and bonuses.

　　Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.

　　Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

　　Prepare and distribute paychecks and statements to employees.

　　Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

　　Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records.

　　Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

　　Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports.

　　Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.

　　Requirements

　　Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role.

　　Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and regulations.

　　Familiarity with payroll software and systems.

　　Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

　　Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

　　Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

　　Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

　　High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
