A Housekeeping Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry with guest requests analyzing each request and delegating between the team members, so that work can be done in an efficient and timely manner ensuring an exceptional experience for our Guests.
What will I be doing?
As Housekeeping Attendant, you will perform various cleaning duties within the Housekeeping department. The Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned rooms/suites and you will also be responsible to report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain rooms/suites in compliance with standards. Specifically, a Housekeeping Attendant will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensures that the cleanliness of the assigned rooms/suites are held consistently to the high operating standardsActively works on available and released Rooms for Guest Service along with the Floor Housekeeping Supervisor instructionsCleans rooms/ suites, as assigned, which includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming where necessary and washing windows / tracksReports rooms as clean and available Monitor and comply with the appearance, standards of the Housekeeping department with an emphasis on team workCheck maid cart for supplies, stock as neededStrip dirty linens / towels and remove used amenities from room/suiteReplenish linen and guest amenitiesEmpties and cleans trash containersDusts and polishes all furniture and chromeClean mirror, lights and lamps, television screen and surfaces, telephone, walls and draperiesSweep and mop floorsGreet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgementClean balconies and all balconies furniture, windows surfaces and cleans the floorCleans the bathroom vanities, basin, toilet and shower doorScrubs the tile floorsDisinfects bathroom surfaces and floorReplaces bathroom supplies if necessaryCleans and maintains all appliancesRespond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time requests)Reports and turns in all lost and found items which are left behind by guestsProvides excellent guest service at all timesReplaces Laundry Attendant or Public Area Attendant in case of holidays, days off or absencesPerforms all other related duties as assigned by the supervisorWhat are we looking for?

Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred but not necessary
Experience: 6 months to 1 year cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
Skills: Must be physically strong. Able to communicate in English; speak, read, write English is a plus. Also able to communicate in Spanish and Papiamento.
Note: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, Housekeeping Attendants may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
