　　Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or usingconveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specifiedmaterials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds intoplanter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions tocontrol insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using sprayers.Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipmentmalfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjustmechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agriculturalproduction, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors whenmachinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs,sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Loadhoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, usingforklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks.Operate towed and self propelled machines to plant, fertilize, dust, andspray crops; till ground and mow. Weigh crop-filled containers, andrecord weights and other identifying information. Drive trucks to haulcrops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Maintain grounds to includepicking up and disposing of trash, mowing and weed trimming.
