Robert Half staffing is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join a well-known and fast-growing company in Roseville. This Payroll Specialist would play an essential role in the company and report directly to the hiring manager.

Job duties include:

5-7 years payroll experience.

Proficiency with multiple payroll systems including, ADP EV6, Workday, UKG, and Dayforce preferred.

Proven payroll experience with 1000+ employee, multi-FEIN, multi-state, and localities.

Microsoft Suite, Teams, Micro Soft Edge, One Note, Outlook.

Advanced in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, and formulas).

Acute attention to detail.

Ability to work with confidential information.

Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment.

Embodies high ethical standards and integrity.

Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Comprehensive knowledge of wage and hour laws, garnishment laws, and taxability of wages.

Exemplifies professionalism.

Contribute to an effective and positive environment.

Perform all assigned tasks timely and efficiently.

Be respectful of co-workers and function as part of cohesive team.

Work effectively with minimal supervision.

This position if full-time, onsite and a long-term temporary role. The ideal candidate would have ADP software, Workday, Multi-State payroll processing and work well with others and outside vendors. If this is the job for you, apply today!

Requirements • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Familiar with ADP - Payroll and Workday software for payroll administration

• Must possess knowledge of Benefit Functions in the financial services industry

• Should have experience in Check Processing for payroll

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Familiarity with payroll tax laws and regulations

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex payroll issues

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Proven experience in a similar role as a Payroll Administrator is advantageous

• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
