* Drywall Finisher--4 Day work Week--Climate Controlled Facility--Weekly Pay *

　　Description :

　　A commercial construction company has an immediate opening for a drywall finisher. The company manufactures modular apartments in a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The facility is climate controlled (heated and air conditioned!) and has a fully furnished break room. You will be hanging, taping, texturing, and finishing drywall. You will also assist in other departments as needed. This company offers a 4 day work week.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Installing the drywall on walls and ceilings, using fasteners such as nails or screws

　　Cutting the sheets to fit around pipes, vents, light fixtures, electrical boxes, and other obstacles in the wall

　　Measuring and cutting sheets of drywall to fit specific openings in walls or ceilings

　　Installing insulation between layers of drywall to reduce noise and heat loss

　　Draping plastic over floors and woodwork to protect them from damage during construction or repair

　　Applying joint compound to seams in drywall to smooth out seams and eliminate bumps or ridges in the surface

　　Applying texture to drywall using special tools called trowels to create different patterns, such as stippling or knocking down the surface

　　Installing drywall on ceilings using chains and lifts to hold it in place while it is screwed into place

　　Mending small holes or cracks in drywall using patching compounds or replacing entire sheets of drywall when necessary

　　Pay :

　　$22-24/hourHours :

　　Monday thru Thursday 6:00 am to 4:45 pm

　　45 minutes lunches and two 15 minute break
