Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant (Settlements) in Owings Mills, MD.Key Tasks:

　　Accountant (Settlements) will manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information

　　Preparing and recommending operating and personnel budgets for approval; Monitoring spending for adherence to budget, recommending variances as necessary

　　As an Accountant (Settlements), you will train and evaluate employees to enhance their performance and development

　　Addressing performance issues and making recommendations for personnel actions

　　Motivating and rewarding employees including providing salary increases, bonuses, and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines

　　High proficiency and significant experience in Excel, including strong data manipulation and advanced formula skills are required

　　Strong accounting skills

　　Detailed oriented

　　Excellent communication skills; Both written and oral

　　Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills

　　Full-cycle, high-volume experience is a plus

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
