The Outbound Administration Team in BD’s European Distribution Center coordinate the departure of multiple shipments to worldwide destinations every day.
We are currently looking for an Outbound Administration Specialist to strengthen the team.
He/she ensures correct and timely preparation of documents for all outbound departures in line with the Service Level Agreements, ISO 13485 and compliance requirements.
Reporting to the Team Leader Outbound Administration the scope of the Outbound Administration Specialist is all shipments that require special documentation and/or follow up such as shipments for large tenders, with letter of credit as payment term, shipments for new lanes, shipments that cannot be standardized.

About the role
As Subject Matter Expert, provide operational export expertise and report any non-conformities immediately
Prepare correct, on time and compliant outbound documents for shipments with non-standard requirements such as shipments under letter of credit, shipments that require special follow up (eg for tenders, to countries with US export restrictions) and shipments for new lanes while meeting BD Compliance and Export Regulation requirements.
Aid the Outbound Administration Officers in case of high workload
Assist in execution of internal and external audits by notified bodies (pre-shipment inspection), by local Customs Authorities, by external auditors (for Sarbanes Oxley)
Provide expertise in preparation and in testing of system changes in collaboration with IT.
Manage good relationship with Customer Care departments, Finance, Trade Compliance Center Of Excellence and other internal and external departments
Responsibilities:
Proficient knowledge of local and international transportation.
Full understanding of Incoterms and (thorough) knowledge of payment modalities in international trade
Knowledge of customs regulations and BD’s Internal Customs processes
Knowledge of documentation requirements for domestic and international trade
Thorough knowledge of international transportation documents and procedures
Acquainted with International compliance, denied party screening
Preferred Requirements:
Fluent in Dutch and knowledge of English
Office applications: Proficient in Outlook email and task management, (solid knowledge of Excel.)
You have a bachelor degree or equivalent due to relevant job experience
