Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Benefits and Wellness Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and optimization of our comprehensive benefits and wellness programs. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing strategies to enhance employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration of Benefits and Wellness Programs:
Oversee the end-to-end administration of medical, dental, vision, life, and AD& D benefits programs.
Implement and manage wellness plans, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
Strategic Partnerships:
Collaborate with brokers and service providers to set targets and monitor plan performance against budgets and strategic objectives.
Communicate plan performance proactively to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Cost Management:
Identify and drive cost savings opportunities.
Propose potential plan modifications for management consideration.
Survey Participation:
Participate in US benefit surveys and analyze results to make informed recommendations.Collaboration with Payroll Team:
Work closely with the payroll team to ensure seamless US benefits/payroll operations.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all internal and external requirements, including ACA, plan documents, etc.Open Enrollment:
Take charge of the open enrollment process for US employees, providing guidance and support.Communication Strategy:
Develop and execute an employee communication strategy regarding current benefits and any changes.
Respond to inquiries from managers and employees related to benefits.
Total Rewards Education:
Ensure employees have a clear understanding of the total rewards package and individual benefit programs.Financial Reconciliation:
Responsible for reconciling all HR accounts with benefit transactions.
Requirements
Proven experience in benefits administration and wellness program management.
Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, including ACA.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
