SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the operations and function of the Quality & Safety Institute. The Operations Manager provides high level project management and is responsible for the effective coordination of programs, projects, administrative, and governance activities. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, healthcare providers, and administrators to develop, implement, and oversee initiatives that enhance the quality and safety of patient care across RRH.

ATTRIBUTES
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field required. 2 years of experience in clinical quality management within a healthcare setting required.Project management experience required.RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative. Coordinates QSI activities with leadership to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications. Sustain QSI applications (SafeConnect, NYPORTS etc.) and make recommendations for enhancements as appropriate. Manage day-to-day operations, which include conducting meetings, providing leadership to the quality improvement process, promoting open communications and resolving day-to-day problems and concerns of leaders and/or customers. Manage contracts and timely payment to vendors that QSI utilizes for technology and services. Project Management. Project management of all clinical and technological components for the RRH external rating programs (ex. USNWR, Health Grade, Leap Frog etc.). Project management of system wide process improvement teams as needed. Lead project manager for system-wide performance improvement work. Delegates to others on the project team as required.Program Management. Assists with program management, work plan development and activities related to the successful participation in quality and safety programs such as: Leapfrog - working with the PI Lead for Leapfrog on building and implementation of the Leapfrog Program infrastructure; Annual Quality & Safety Goal Planning process - working with QSI leadership to manage updates for documentation that is used for DNV, Board approval of goals etc; QAPSPI Management for updates; Significant Safety Event Reporting Committee (SERC) project/program management - including Just Culture - this is a new program being led by VP of Patient Safety; Partners with communications and marketing for awareness of programs (examples: Safety Awareness Week, Infection Prevention Week, Healthcare Quality Worker's Week, CDI week). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PAY RANGE: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
