　　ensure proper, safe and exceptional operation of the department.

　　Essential Duties:

　　Developing and maintaining a complete lab for chemical and microbialtesting of products

　　Developing initial and subsequent modifications of product assuranceprogram to delineate areas of

　　responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedureswithin program

　　Evaluating the contents of reports from product assurance programdepartment heads and confers

　　with top management personnel preparatory to formulating fiscal budgetfor product assurance

　　program

　　Conducting management meetings with product assurance program departmentheads to establish,

　　delineate, and review program organizational policies, to coordinatefunctions and operations

　　between departments, and to establish responsibilities and proceduresfor attaining objectives

　　Visiting and conferring with representatives of material and componentvendors to obtain information

　　related to supply quality, capacity of vendor to meet orders, and vendorquality standards

　　Maintaining plant quality systems in compliance with regulatory andcustomer requirements

　　Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs

　　Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

　　5+ years related experience

　　1+ year supervisor experience

　　Demonstrates problem solving capabilities

　　Excellent verbal/written communication skills

　　Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit (Outlook, Work, Excel)

　　Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department whichare subject to evenings,

　　weekends, and holidays
