Plan and manage a variety of business operations for specialty coffee roaster, including information technology, product sourcing, marketing and market research, and customer service. Duties include overseeing computer-operated roasting equipment and related technology and computer applications; managing company website and online presence, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and in line with company goals; managing the sourcing function for coffee beans from around the world; managing the roasting function to create unique coffee blends; coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective sourcing of beans, equipment, and supplies; and managing the market research function and analyzing customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving coffee offerings, creating new coffee blends based on a strong understanding of coffee flavor profiles and brewing techniques, and increasing sales. Position requires (1) Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or an information technology field such as technology management, computer science, digital technology/design, or related. (2) 24 months of experience in a coffee roaster position, including sourcing coffee beans, roasting coffee beans, and creating unique coffee blends based on a strong understanding of coffee flavor profiles and brewing techniques.
