　　How you make a difference

　　The Nursing Assistant performs basic and specialized nursing care functions under the direction of licensed nursesin accordance withlocal and regulatory policies and procedures. They work closely with other members of the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care activities and ensure safety. After completing a general orientation, Nursing Assistants are assigned to different areas, such as residential units, clinics, or infirmaries, toprovideadequate nursing care to patients.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Assistpatients with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

　　Help patients with medical equipment and transfer them between bed, chair, and other departments.

　　Take vital signs and record measurements such as height and weight.

　　Observe patients for changes in health status and report to the licensed nurse.

　　Assistlicensed nurse with patient assessments and remove potential hazards in patient surroundings.

　　Qualifications & Requirements

　　Education

　　High school diploma or equivalent required.Licenses/Certifications
