Job Title: New Product/Service Introduction Team Leader
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Peterborough (hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

The opportunity:
Reporting into the Business Integration Manager, the New Product/Service Introduction Team Leader will manage multiple complex projects involving multiple functions across the Caterpillar business. You will lead the New Market Introduction/New Service Introduction program to ensure all systems are covered and update/modify existing systems to achieve business readiness for each new program. This will include setting up a temporary process to cover early learners and strategically plan and implement how this will transition to the final production process. There will be a large focus on developing and implementing transactional flow to ensure business readiness of a new ‘as-a-service’ offering in the division.
This is a highly collaborative role, where you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the go-to-market strategy is achieved.
What you will do:
Coordinate with the businesses, sales, marketing, and platform groups to manage resources for each deliverable within the project.
Oversee project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
Influence project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.
Communicate with customers and managing expectations, ensuring effective use of project controls and reporting mechanisms.
What you have:
New Product/Service Introduction Lead Experience: Progressive job-related experience.
Level Extensive Experience:
Demonstrable experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders and business units.
Experience leading business transformation projects with a focus on systems transformation and integration.
Possess business understanding with the ability to translate actions and to implement across the business.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Level Extensive Experience:

Explains current status, delivery alternatives and announced updates to products and services.
Summarizes key features of major products or services in own unit.
Assesses own unit's product alternatives, costs, and pricing.
Program Management: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.
Level Working Knowledge:
Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
Participates in planning, estimating, and executing a set of projects.
Follows standard criteria to track project progress and status to ensure they are in line with program objectives.
Monitors standard project status reports.
Coordinates the necessary resources for managing efficient and effective projects within the program.
Top candidates will have:
Project management qualification/training
Black belt certification
Lean, process mapping certification
Additional Information:
The role will require overseas travel on an adhoc basis.
