At SoberShift, Ltd., we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our clients. As a Night Shift Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being and safety of our clients during the nighttime hours when they are confined to their rooms.
Responsibilities:1. Client Monitoring: Ensure the safety and security of clients by monitoring their activities through regular room checks and surveillance systems.2. Client Support: Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients during their stay, addressing any concerns or needs that may arise.3. Crisis Intervention: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or crisis situations, utilizing proper protocols and procedures.4. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client activities, incidents, and observations throughout the night shift.5. Communication: Collaborate effectively with other staff members during shift changes, providing relevant updates and information regarding clients.6. Client Engagement: Encourage and facilitate client engagement by organizing and overseeing activities within their rooms or shared spaces during non-sleep hours.7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and ethical standards related to client confidentiality, safety, and care.8. Training: Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as crisis intervention, mental health, and addiction.
Qualifications:1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional relevant certifications or training in healthcare, social work, or crisis intervention is preferred.2. Experience: Prior experience working with individuals in a similar supportive capacity, preferably within a healthcare or residential setting.3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both clients and team members.4. Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and compassionate support to individuals in vulnerable situations.5. Crisis Management: Experience in responding to crisis situations and managing emergencies effectively.6. Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.7. Confidentiality: Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all privacy and security policies and regulations.
