Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to join one of our largest financial service clients sitting local to New York City, or their New Jersey offices (Jersey City or Woodland Park). They will be joining the Corporate DMZ Team in an effort to migrate all legacy infrastructure to build their DMZs. This role is a hands on implementation job, and the candidates looking to be hired should come from a client connectivity and migration background. The team is looking for a candidate who has some experience working with firewalls and load balancers, but that are experts in routing and switching understanding BGP and OSPF protocols. Outside of the technical skills, it is necessary these candidates are self-motivated, prompt, and have excellent communication especially with the role being remote. Due to the nature of the project, the job involves weekend work, and some week night work to handle the migration of services.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　7-10 years of experience as a Network Engineer coming from a client connectivity, extranet, deployment, or implementation background

　　Excellent routing and Lan switching experience

　　Proficient experience following protocols such as BGP and OSPF

　　Understanding of firewalls and load balancers

　　Strong communication, self-motivated, and driven. Will be working directly with clients - Previous experience working on a datacenter migration

　　Experience working with AVI Load balancers

　　Strong Cisco ACI experience

　　Palo Alto Firewall experience null
