SGI offers:Starting rate \$18.00 -- \$20.00 after probationary period Shiftdifferential - \$.65 2nd shift and \$.90 3rd shift Benefits eligiblefirst day of hire - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Ins, LTD, AD&D, 7% -401K company match and immediate vesting All PPE provided & safety bootreimbursement program SUMMARY Perform miscellaneous duties around theplant which include, but are not limited to, keeping an area and plantequipment clean and operating properly, to assist with mechanic repairsand other maintenance, and perform miscellaneous unskilled dutiesrelated to the assigned work area. Ensure safe operation during shiftand coordinate maintenance needs with Supervisor and Superintendent.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform work requiring little skill or previoustraining in connection with rough, heavy labor, such as moving, liftingand piling materials, and loading and unloading cars, trucks, etc. Digditches, holes, etc. as required. Clean materials from areas aroundcrushers, conveyors, elevators, loading stations, etc. using broom,shovel and wheelbarrow, or vacuum equipment as directed. Perform otherduties as required and assigned. Clean vibrating screens with brush or apaddle. Clean all process equipment such as mixers, aerators, asrequired for color changes. Rap out equipment to dislodge materialsticking to sides of kilns and other equipment with a sledge hammer.Lubricate equipment as required, make minor repairs and adjustments andassist in major repairs.
