Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Mortgage Pricing and Amortization Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing mortgage pricing strategies, developing amortization schedules, and ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for our mortgage products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to develop effective mortgage pricing strategies.
Collaborate with finance, risk management, and sales teams to determine optimal pricing structures.
Create and maintain accurate and detailed amortization schedules for various mortgage products.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing mortgage portfolios, recommending adjustments as needed.
Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support pricing decisions and profitability goals.
Stay informed about industry regulations and market conditions that may impact mortgage pricing.
Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to enhance pricing models and tools.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate pricing strategies and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to mortgage pricing and disclosure.
Provide support during audits and examinations related to mortgage pricing practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field
Proven experience in mortgage pricing, financial analysis, or a related role within the financial services industry.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
Knowledge of mortgage products, loan pricing models, and amortization principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements.
