　　M/I Homes, a top 15 national home builder, is looking for a Residential Mortgage Loan Officer for its builder financing subsidiary, M/I Financial, LLC located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The successful candidate must be:

　　· Well versed in origination and underwriting guidelines of all types of mortgage loans.

　　· Very knowledgeable in Conventional, FHA, and VA loan guidelines.

　　· Ready to take on some Volume!

　　Job Summary:

　　Originate residential first lien mortgages through a dedicated partnership with our Homebuilder by providing a high touch and financially knowledgeable loan origination service, leading to successful on-time originations with a superior level of customer service.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Partners with new home sales personnel to initiate contact with purchasers in completing loan application and collecting supporting documentation to support loan approval.

　　Prepares and communicates initial Loan Estimate.

　　Prequalifies potential borrowers as needed.

　　Oversees all customer loan price negotiations.

　　Manages the overall loan transaction by communicating with applicant(s), processors, underwriters and/or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information.

　　Oversees timely scheduling of loan closing to meet home builder and borrower needs.

　　Maintains an active NMLS Loan Originator License (or is able to obtain one).

　　· This is an ONSITE position located in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position DOES NOT offer opportunities for Hybrid or Remote work.

　　· Ability to travel to Builder Communities within the Home Builder Division.

　　Requirements

　　· Some college preferred, and at least three (3) years of current experience in a purchase focused mortgage origination role.

　　Work Conditions

　　This position is full-time, on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is not a remote or hybrid position. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license required for travel to remote sales offices and meetings with potential business associates. Some weekend work is required.
