Description:
•Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids including blood urine or spinal to determine presence of normal or abnormal components
•Collect biological specimens from patients
•Operate calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis
•Enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage
•2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
•Work every 3rd weekend
Skills & Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician.
• TN LICENSURE or ASCP/AMT CERTIFICATION:MT/MLS (ASCP AMT) or equivalent. Licensed as a Medical Technologist by the Tennessee State Board of Health OR Certified by ASCP or AMT as a MT/MLS
