Your Job Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Pipeline Operator to join our team at the Cottage Grove, MN facility. As a Pipeline Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our pipeline facilities at operational readiness. Your responsibilities will also include locating pipelines in the Right of Way as needed to support the team. What You Will Do Responsible for launching, receiving, loading, and unloading pipeline inspection tools Maintenance of equipment across multiple facilities Responsible for locating pipelines within the Right of Way Overseeing plan execution from initiation to completion Create and maintain internal Work Orders to document maintenance activities Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) A valid US Driver's License Previous troubleshooting experience One plus years of experience with basic electrical and mechanical concepts Ability to meet Physical Requirements listed in the job description Ability to participate in an after-hours support rotation Ability to travel up to 90% of the time locally and up to 10% within the US What Will Put You Ahead A two-year technical or mechanical degree At least two years of construction/maintenance experience in a bulk storage terminal Previous work experience in a bulk storage terminal and/or pipeline operation One or more years of Electrical and Instrumentation troubleshooting experience One year of experience in petroleum, or chemical industry Physical Requirements Ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, reach, handle, bend, twist, climb, and balance; to occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, and crawl Ability and willingness to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (for example: hard hat, safety glasses, fire retardant clothing, respirator, safety workbooks, etc. as required) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with frequent carrying of up to 25 pounds) Must be able to adequately hear alarms and other sounds which may indicate a safety concern Must be able to communicate hazardous conditions and other dangers Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts, work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and outdoor weather conditions, work in high, precarious places and work around fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen, and pre-hire HAZWOPER physical This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
