POSITION SUMMARY The MemberSpecialist is responsible for providing transactional and informationalservices to credit union members while achieving sales goals. POSITIONRESPONSIBILITIES General Responsibilities Provide exceptional memberservice. Actively look for referral opportunities. Complete memberdeposit, withdrawal, payment, cash checking, and cash advance requests.Assisting members and potential members with opening and servicingproducts and services. Always maintain member confidentiality byverifying all necessary signatures, endorsements, and proper photoidentification. Maintain appropriate cash drawer/recycling supply.Verify and balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end ofshift. Process daily mail, night depository, and ATM. Order and re-orderchecks and check cards for members. Enroll/modify payroll allocationsand ACH per member request. Comply with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFACregulations as related to position. Yearly completion of all on-linecompliance training as defined by Management. Attend required sales,services, and department training classes to enhance skill level.Demonstrate the Credit Union\'s philosophy in all interactions andadhere to Patch Values with members, prospective members, and teammembers. Foster and maintain an atmosphere of solutions, innovation, andcontinuous improvement. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must bebondable. High school diploma or equivalency required. Three (3) to six(6) months related experience. Prior sales experience helpful,preferable in a financial capacity. Saturday hours are required on arotating basis. KEY COMPETENCIES Able to read and interpret policy andprocedures. Friendly, enthusiastic, and team oriented. Learn and knowcurrent Member Service operating system. Learn and know productofferings, stay abreast of new products and services. Use effectivewritten and verbal skills.
