About Imaging Technician

  Description

  Provides repairs, scheduled maintenance, and calibration on diagnostic imaging equipment and ancillary equipment used within the imaging environment. Services imaging equipment in assigned geography which may include but not limited to the following modalities: CR, Portables, C-Arms, conventional X-Ray, R&F, tomography, mammography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, Cath labs, nuclear medicine or linear accelerators.

  Required Qualifications:

  Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology. Or

  Coursework/Training: Electronics Technology, Military or Technical Training or equivalent educ/experience

  Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  3 years of experience as a Radiological Service Engineer. Or

  5 years of experience in repair of biomedical equipment or equivalent field

  The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
