Voyage Healthcare is currently looking for full-time Business Office SpecialistInsurance Generalist at our Corporate office located in Brooklyn Park. This position is responsible for performing administrative tasks to ensure the most efficient functioning of the revenue cycle. Also responsible for completing tasks supporting the accounts receivable management process. *This is an onsite position. Other responsibilities include: Review daily mail correspondence from Insurance companies and patients and follow up as assigned. Completes medical records requests from insurance companies within a 48-hour time frame. Resolves batch errors and reconciles claim batches in eClinicalWorks daily. Assists Business Office Supervisor with clearinghouse and payer rejections. Reports issues and trends to Business Office Supervisor and/or Manager as directed. Completes monthly reference lab invoice reconciliation. Assists with updating patient demographics and insurance information as needed. Works claims denials per Voyage Healthcare protocol as assigned. Assists Business Office team with any other daily assigned tasks as needed. Presents ideas and works with Business Office Manager to improve efficiency and effectiveness of working insurance accounts receivable. Uses problem-solving skills to identify and resolve unpaid or incorrectly paid claims. Researches credit balances and prepares refund documentation for checks to be issued.
