As one of the fastest growing firms in the nation, BT has the ability to offer you upward career trajectory, flexibility in how and where you get your work done, meaningful relationships with clients and teammates and leadership who truly care about you and your development.You will enjoy this role if: * You crave an opportunity to be part of a well-established Global Mobility practice that continues to achieve tremendous growth. * You want to be part of firm is invested in your success by providing the resources and support to continually sharpen your technical skills and build your career now, for tomorrow.What you'll do: * The Tax Global Mobility Services Associate is responsible for the delivery of a full range of expatriate services: * Prepare or review US individual income tax returns and tax equalization calculations for inbound and outbound international assignees. * Participate in arrival and departure tax meetings for expatriates and in-patriates. * Preparation of Canadian and U.S. payroll estimates including hypothetical tax and shadow payroll * Communication with corporate clients and their assignees. * Assist with identification and conducting various consulting project including, but not limited to, compensation, internal client policies and other ad hoc activities. * Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations. * Learn and grow from direct and on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs. * Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients. * Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals. * Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance.QualificationsSuccessful candidates will have: * An undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field required * Actively pursuing a CPA, EA or JD/LLM * Knowledge of individual income tax issues and tax law including foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance, and the tax equalization process. * Ability to work with multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment. * Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology. * Strong verbal and written communication skill. * Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferredAdditional InformationFor California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $61,070 to $105,480. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.#LI-YB1
