　　Assists with daily exams and biopsies. Performs office injections ie; depo and vitamins. Takes vital signs on all patients, utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of the patients. Excellent communication skills, leadership, time management and problem-solving skills are required. Assist patients in a timely manner at all times and interact with fellow team members with respect.

　　Required:

　　Completion of a formal nurse assistance training program and certified medical assistant

　　Experience:

　　At least six months experience

　　Certification/Licensure:

　　Venipuncture/EKG preferred

　　Must have BCLS

　　Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

　　Excellent communication skills, leadership, time management and problem-solving skills are required

　　Responsibilities:

　　Delivers care to patients with empathy and in a caring manner.

　　Interacts well with patients' family members.

　　Proactive in informing appropriate personnel of patient issues and actively obtaining information if not readily available.

　　Performs procedures with ease and understands the patients' needs.

　　Assess patient pain level at each visit.

　　Performs injections with no assistance.

　　Can be relied on for proper labeling of patient s specimens.

　　Can enter and obtain labs /US/ xrays with no assistance.

　　Will stock and clean rooms on a daily basis.

　　Can work independently when asked and get any job done in a timely manner.

　　Accepts role as a preceptor to new employees.

　　Works with others to form a plan of care and good outcome for the patients.
