　　The Position

　　Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting.

　　Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for Clinical Social Worker II. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS) Unit. This position is located within the Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) of Health and Human Services - Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS) and serves all of the Northern Nevada region.

　　This is a part-time position - 30 hours per week. The incumbent will provide individual and group family training, counseling and home visits to assist families with a child under the age of three (3) with disabilities and review all child's referrals from social service agencies. Participates in eligibility evaluation determinations and individualized family service plans for early intervention services. Participates in professional development trainings to improve social-emotional outcomes for eligible children receiving early intervention services. ADSD provides an atmosphere of innovative thinking, teamwork, friendly co-workers, and provides a positive working environment. 　　Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)

　　Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker by the Board of Examiners for Social Workers.Special Notes

　　Incumbents must obtain and maintain licensure or provisional licensure to engage in social work as a Clinical Social Worker or associate in social work in accordance with NRS Chapter 641B and the regulations adopted by the Board of Examiners for Social Workers.Special Requirements
