　　Description:

　　Develop conceptual designs from customer specification for proposal efforts under the guidance of the Chief Engineer or Vice President of Engineering and Quality.

　　Implement the full technical responsibility for new product design and development efforts.

　　Production readiness and delivery of all drawings, documents, and related data associated with assigned projects

　　Analytical functions related to new product development and legacy product support including but not limited to tolerance studies, structural analysis (including finite element analysis), hydraulic analysis and dynamic analysis

　　Qualification test plans and procedures

　　Serves as primary technical customer interface for new and legacy products

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Mechanical Engineering degree required and 3 years of experience as mechanical design engineer.

　　Strone analytical knowledge

　　Experience in similar field for qualification testing (Sikorsky, Pratt, Electric Boat)

　　Shock, vibration, environmental, endurance testing

　　Knowledge of hydraulics, schematics nice to have

　　ANSYS nice to have

　　Will be some rig design: they use solidedge, but any CAD acceptable
