Be responsible for managing a team of Mechanical Design Engineers within the Design, Installations, and Service Engineering COE in terms of workload planning, scheduling, department budgeting, staffing, mentoring, and training. This Manager will lead a group of Internals and Installations/Externals Designers located in Phoenix, Torrance, and Mexicali. You will ensure that Honeywell products are perceived as the highest quality in their category and continue to build brand awareness through effective engineering and design implementation. You will work closely with Analytical specialist functions, Manufacturing, Product/Project Managers, Engineering Testing Labs, and vendors to ensure product development objectives and schedules are met. You will develop and implement effective strategies to optimize our ability to develop products with contract manufacturing partners when deemed appropriate.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
5+ years in Engineering Mechanical Design or Project Engineering or an Analytical field within Engineering
Minimum of five (5) years Gas Turbine experience.
Due to Export control and ITAR restrictions, candidate must be a US Citizen.
