JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Assists other mechanics, machinerymaintenance worker, and miscellaneous equipment and maintenance operatorwith repairs. Construction work as required. Essential Duties &Responsibilities: -Responsible for the repair and maintenance of allHighway Department equipment. -Responsible for the repairs andmaintenance of light and heavy-duty highway construction machinery andequipment. -Responsible for the overhaul and repair of both gasoline anddiesel engines. -Responsible for operation of machine shop tools, lathe,milling machines and equipment. -Responsible for the operation of gasand electric welding equipment. -Responsible for repairs for allhydraulic systems including hoses and couplings. -Required tooccasionally operate highway machinery. -Required to sweep the floor.-Performs any other related highway maintenance and construction work asrequired. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Three to fiveyears of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinationof education and experience. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: ApplyOnline: www.co.shawano.wi.us
