Job Overview: The Materials Leader has 1-5 direct reports and overall responsibility for production materials management across all atomization cells. Job Accountabilities: 1. Managing, Leading, and Developing Organizing, leading, training, and developing personnel and ensuring a high performing team Coaching and developing talent Contributing to the short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team Partnering and collaborating with HR on Employee Relations and Annual HR Processes 2. Production Materials Management Scheduling product involvement Order and maintain inventory levels for raw materials and plant supplies. Blend BP and maintain "Blue" remelt log with homogenies ANA# for remelts. Control warehouse inventory and 5s. I.e., Viga 250 1st level racks, 2nd level RM supply, 3rd level consumables. Work with Engineering to create Heats Sheets and provide to production with controlled BP usage. Create and validate completions of WIP cycles through Oracle. 3. Safety, Quality, and Compliance Responsible for all safety, quality, and production related operations Leading the commitment to safety through actions (examples include hazard recognition, driving STOP process participation, leading safety tours, participating in monthly safety meeting and corporate report-outs). Required Qualifications Minimum BS/BA with 4 years of experience OR MS/MA/MBA with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of related operational and/or supervisory related experience with broad knowledge of principles and practices within operations. High proficiency with MS Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Ability to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to operations. Ability to work all shifts and weekends as necessary to support production. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience with Oracle and Wavefront. Experience with inventory planning, productivity, and business financials.
