Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst
The Liquidity Reporting Team, which is part of the EMEA Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is looking for Intermediate Reporting Analyst who covers CRD IV liquidity related templates including LCR, NSFR, ALMM and Asset encumbrance returns. The centre is a key part of Citi’s Finance function on global scale and offers excellent career opportunities for financial reporting professionals. As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with the generation, tracking and submission of regulatory liquidity reports to the Regulators. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare reports and statements in accordance with regulatory guidelines and implement the latest changes requested by the regulator.
In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:
Create and analyze various reports that detail important aspects of the bank’s financials for the Central Banks, regulators and supervisory bodies
Prepare the necessary adjustments to eliminate the potential data quality issues
Facilitate the implementation of procedures and the development of analysis and reports
Support the new developments and work closely with the Technology/Corporate Treasury/Business Analyst teams and provide sufficient level of analysis for strategical decision making
Escalate problems or issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures
Follow up on new requirements/publications related to the liquidity returns
Check and ensure that procedures, process notes and policies are up-to-date and applied to adequately cover rules and regulations
Apply and develop controls and reports including reconciliations, static data and variance analysis and mapping reviews
The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:
3 years of previous experience preferred
Experience in Finance, Reporting or Treasury is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Experience with automatization tools is an advantage
Basel 3/CRDIV/CRR related knowledge is advantage
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
