Primary Responsibilities:
Work with other Engineers to define and resolve complex technical issuesthat may drive change to the product or test process.
Analyze product, part, and test specifications as necessary to resolveelectronic related problems to component level.
Collaborate with Application Engineering, Design Engineering, and SupplyChain to resolve electronic component problems.
Provide failure analysis as necessary for the disposition ofnonconforming parts and products.
Initiate Change Orders to revise documentation.
Analyze test data using statistical process control tools to proactivelyreduce test flow inhibitors.
Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and producibility improvementprojects.
Provide technical assistance and training to test operators andelectrical technicians.
Review existing test plans to find improvement opportunities.
Basic understanding of off the shelf testing equipment and the abilityto learn and understand internal custom testing solutions.
Providing status of work assignments at any time and can quickly produceany documentation or information that is needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience(excluding internships) OR
In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) oreligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Electronics knowledge and industry/functional practices, techniques, andstandards.
Basic understanding and application of Engineer principles, concepts,practices, and standards is expected.
Troubleshooting of digital and analog electronics to component level.
Basic understanding of Root cause analysis methods
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, includingability to communicate with senior leadership and assembly technicians.
