  Senior Marketing Specialist | Hybrid | New York/New Jersey

  Are you looking for a great opportunity to help drive the strategy and growth of an Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) firm in the New York Metro Area? VHB is seeking a talented marketing professional to provide proposal and visibility support for our Northeast Region. As part of our Northeast marketing team, you will work with our technical staff to produce winning proposal documents and effective marketing communications materials in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a creative and energetic team member who enjoys competing for projects in the government, transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy markets and is interested in helping raise VHB's prominence in the region.

  Responsibilities

  Writing, editing, organizing, and proofreading various marketing collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, award submittals, brochures, articles, and presentations

  Facilitating proposal/presentation kick-off and strategy meetingsPreparing detailed proposal management plans/outlinesEnsuring compliance with client requirements outlined in requests for proposals (RFPs) and similar solicitationsCoordinating proposal activities of technical, marketing, graphics, and production staffCommunicating proposal needs and deadlines with colleagues and subconsultantsOverseeing proposal production and ensuring delivery to meet strict deadlinesPreparing presentation materials for client interviewsAssisting with developing and supporting visibility initiatives (e-blasts, social media campaigns, VHB.com content, etc.)Coordinating and occasionally attending conferences and industry eventsMaintaining VHB brand standards across all marketing effortsSupports Client Focus and Market Team activities with senior marketing partnersParticipating in marketing team meetings, workshops, and professional development activitiesSkills & Abilities

  Proven experience of ability to independently lead proposals from start (receipt of RFP, outline of requirements) to finish (development of compliant proposal, production and delivery)Able to develop compliance matrices and outlines from Request for Proposal (RFP) and similar documentsStrong writer, editor, and communicator Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong creative and strategic thinking skillsDetail orientedAble to work well under deadline pressureAble to handle multiple assignments concurrentlyComfortable working with colleagues in person and remotelyQualifications

  BA in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or comparable field4-6 years of professional marketing experience in the A/E/C industry required6-8 years of marketing experience preferredExperience preparing proposals in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) industry requiredProficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) requiredAdobe platform and/or Microsoft Teams experience a plusOur best estimate of the salary range for this position, located in New York City, is $76,000-113,000 and in Hauppauge, NY is $72,000-107,000. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
