Begin/report to work: 4326 High Desert Dr., Ammon, Bonneville County, ID83406 @ \$21.75/hr. Employer will transport workers daily between reportto work address and additional worksites.
Additional worksites: (work throughout the following counties/areas):Bannock, Bingham, Bonneville, Jefferson, Madison, ID, and areas of IdahoFalls, ID, Pocatello, ID, Southeast-Central Idaho nonmetropolitan area.
Duties: Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they areproperly constructed, set the forms that hold concrete to the desiredpitch and depth, and align them, spread,level and smooth concrete, usingrake, shovel, hand/powered trowel, hand/powered screed, and float,produce rough concrete surface, using broom, chip, scrape, and grindhigh spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete usingchisels, power grinders or hand tools. Clean chipped area, using wirebrush and observe to make sure even enough. Build wooden molds, andclamp molds around area to be repaired, using hand tools. Polishsurface, using polishing or surfacing machine. Push roller over surfaceto embed chips in surface & other related Concrete Finisher activitiesas per SOC/OES 47-2051 (onetonline.org). Work is performed outdoors,exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous laborfor long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weatherconditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/orovertime.
Terms: Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State and localemployment-related laws and regulations such as wages, breaks, hoursworked, and overtime hours (overtime possible, but not required orguaranteed. If overtime is worked, wage is paid at 1.5x regular rate ofpay per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week.).
Requirements: Must be 18 due to insurance. Must show proof of legalauthority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone.Perform physical activities such as: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle,position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maxmuscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible2-person). No minimum education requirement. On-the-job trainingavailable. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to performwork described and must be available for the entire period specified andwork throughout all areas of intended employment.
Wages & Conditions of Employment: \$21.75/Hour up to possible\$25.00/Hour OT \$32.63/Hour up to possible \$37.50/Hour. Wage may varybased on Experience. Will use a single workweek as its standard forcomputing wages due. Wage paid every two weeks All deductions requiredby law will be made by the employer as well as any further taxwithholding or other reasonable deduction(s) authorized by the worker.Health and Welfare benefits may apply. At Employers sole discretion:possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as workperformance or skill (not guaranteed); possible cash advances (ifapplicable/requested by worker, potential deduction from workerspaycheck).
Possible offered daily/weekly hours: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM. 40+(plus); not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possibleweekend/holiday work.
Inbound and Outbound Transportation (Initial Arrival & ContractCompletion/Subsequent Departure): The amount of transportation paymentor reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonablecommon carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will beprovided at the rate required at the time of travel (currently \$15.46per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts).
T ansportation and subsistence will be reimbursed (by check in 1st workweek) for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work forthe employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment.Will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visaprocessing, border crossing, and other related fees, including thosemandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (not includingpassport).
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will notreturn due to subsequent employment with another employer.
3/4s Guarantee: The worker will be offered a total number of work hoursequal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.
Tools, equipment & supplies: All work will be done with employerprovided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit.
Miscellaneous: Any worker who voluntarily abandons employment is notentitled to payment for outbound transportation or the full 3/4sGuarantee described.
