　　Job Duties and Responsibilities

　　DISH is looking for a Software Engineer who will play a critical role in building and delivering technological systems and processes. In this role, you will work with a team to analyze and improve current systems, identify areas for improvement, and design, implement, and deliver solutions to increase efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with other members of the IT Wireless team as well as with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Design, implement, and test back-end solutions using Java and SpringBoot in AWS environment

　　Implement and maintain monitoring systems to proactively identify performance issues and inefficiencies in current technological systems

　　Work towards continuous optimization to ensure optimal functionality

　　Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on system integration projects, ensuring seamless communication and integration between different technological components and platforms

　　Evaluate and enhance system scalability to accommodate future growth and increasing demands

　　Implement solutions that allow systems to scale efficiently and handle higher workloads

　　Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures in software systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

　　Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates

　　Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends

　　Conduct research to identify innovative solutions that can be incorporated to enhance technological systems and processes

　　Identify routine and repetitive tasks within system processes and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency, reduce manual errors, and enhance overall productivity

　　Act as a key resource in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues

　　Collaborate with team members to address challenges promptly and ensure the continuous functionality of systems

　　Create comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions, configurations, and system architectures

　　Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions within the team to ensure a collective understanding of system components and processes

　　Provide training and support to end-users as needed, ensuring they can effectively utilize the implemented technological solutions

　　Address user queries and troubleshoot issues to maintain a high level of user satisfaction

　　Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

　　Contribute to the iterative development of software solutions with a focus on delivering value to end-users

　　Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to evolving technologies and methodologies

　　Embrace a learning mindset to stay current with industry best practices and incorporate them into the development process

　　Analyze performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of implemented solutions on system efficiency, user experience, and overall business objectives

　　Make data-driven recommendations for further improvements

　　Skills, Experience and Requirements

　　Education and/or Experience:

　　Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

　　1+ years experience in software engineering

　　Skills and Qualifications:

　　Great communication skills - someone who passionate about sharing your vision and getting others excited

　　Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills

　　Understanding of cloud environments and practices

　　Software design, developement and test experience with CI/CD, DevOps and agile methodologies

　　Ability to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines

　　Experience in telecommunications and 5G a plus

　　Experience in inventory a plus

　　AWS certifications (Professional level and higher) a plus

　　Experience developing Java/SpringBoot based microservices

　　Experience building, documenting, and supporting robust RESTful APIs and service

　　Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis

　　CI/CD and source control experience (branching, merging, rebasing)

　　Experience using container and container management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

　　Salary Ranges

　　Compensation: $69,700.00/Year - $94,300.00/Year

　　The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
