　　Job Description

　　We are currently seeking a Finance Manager, Sales Finance for our Canadian Business to be located in Stamford, CT and report to the Director, Finance.

　　Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

　　- Participate in the customer strategy development process and ensure the commercial plan is executed in line with the overall company strategy.

　　- Execute the forecast and plan for volume, revenue, trade spend & customer contribution to ensure alignment with monthly business planning and dynamic forecast.

　　- Support delivery of financial reporting to provide insights to drivers of variances vs plan and prior year.

　　- Analyze trade spend and marketing investments and ensure procedures are in place to review customer performance.

　　- Perform financial assessments of gap closing opportunities and review findings with sales team.

　　- Provide financial guidance in customer negotiations (pricing, customer deductions, allowances, promotional frequency).

　　- Improve Customer Sales Team business acumen through training and ongoing financial analysis.

　　- Custodian of internal controls and assurance that trade spend practices comply with internal and external guidelines.

　　- Participate in Agency related commission payments and financial analysis.

　　- Participate in supply chain reviews, aligned end to end financials.

　　- People costs budget and forecast.

　　Qualifications

　　Key qualifications include:

　　- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required.

　　- 8-12 year's experience in finance, accounting or economics specific roles; with preferred experience in Sales Finance support/co-piloting

　　- Prior experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Company preferred

　　- Proficiency with financial planning/forecasting and trade spend management tools.

　　- Financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

　　- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of multi-tasking.

　　- Ability to build relationships, embrace change and manage the business with an owner's mindset.
