  Manager, Audience & Revenue Marketing

  Dow Jones is seeking a Manager of Audience & Revenue Marketing. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the growth of our subscription business by leveraging analytical skills-developing strategies to maximize both subscription volume and revenue per subscriber. You will analyze trends in revenue and customer lifetime value, making recommendations on how to build both holistic and audience-specific pricing strategies for Dow Jones' consumer products. You will interact with specialists across the marketing organization and partner closely with the finance team. You will lead audience forecasting exercises and ensure alignment of marketing strategy with revenue objectives.

  Responsibilities:

  Revenue Optimization: Identify strategies and tactics that maximize overall subscriber revenue, including upsell, cross-sell initiatives, off-gating, and dynamic pricing. Collaborate with marketing leads in the acquisition and CRM team to prioritize these revenue opportunities. Pricing Strategy: Using insights on both current customers and competitors, guide pricing strategies for Dow Jones products, with an approach that helps capture both core finance readers and expansion audiences. Audience Forecasting: Lead audience forecasting exercises, tying audience growth to subscription revenue. Revenue Insights: Identify trends in subscription revenue. Be diagnostic. Dive deep into data to tell the story of our audience revenue, focusing on both new subscriber acquisition and retention.

  Requirements:

  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, or a quantitative field. 5+ years of experience in audience and revenue marketing, preferably in a subscription-based business. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms, including Excel, Looker, and Tableau. SQLskills are a plus. Experience in audience measurement tools, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 4. Excellent understanding of subscription business models and marketing strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Understanding of key financial metrics and ability to analyze a P&L. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
