Job Description: Director Consulting

　　About the Role

　　Chemical Market Analytics by OPIS, a Dow Jones company, requires a highly motivated Director of Consulting to be located in the UK.

　　You will develop, quote, lead and conduct bespoke research consulting projects with Chemical Market Analytics clients related to multiple business lines including olefins, plastics, aromatics, inorganics, syngas, feedstock, and energy. You are expected to have a broad knowledge of the chemical and energy industries with a comprehensive understanding of regional differences related to both chemical and energy markets. Significant resource coordination skills are required to guide teams to complete projects. You are expected to be a accomplished writer/speaker and possesses strong computer skills.

　　You Will:

　　Lead a business segment within CMA.

　　Develop proposals for small to medium size projects. 50k to 250k USD

　　Ultimately manage and deliver projects, utilizing both internal and external subject matter experts along with supporting analysts.

　　Manage and mentor junior analysts and mid-level researchers.

　　Interface with global industry organizations and attend/speak at conferences that help build and nourish relationships with key industry contacts.

　　Travel on an ad-hoc basis.

　　You Have:

　　Broad knowledge of the chemical and energy industries

　　Ability to think through questions and problems and independently provide solutions

　　Highly analytical and strategic thinking

　　Track record for writing, negotiating and performing detailed consulting agreements.

　　Advanced computer skills with emphasis on data analysis.

　　Education:

　　A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a technical degreeExperience:

　　Demonstrable of experience in chemical or energy industry consulting and consulting team management. Broader experience in plant operations, commercial activities, and financial analysis.About us:
