Mammo Tech - PRN

As a Mammo Tech at St. Luke's Woodlands hospital you will perform mammographic, stereotactic biopsy and breast pathology localizations procedures. Everyday you will operates specialized mammography, stereotactic biopsy and bone densitometry equipment, Performs direct patient care and Performs a variety of technical procedures to produce images for diagnosis of breast diseases and osteoporosis evaluation.

Responsibilities

Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of x-ray and mammographic equipment

Assist physician with interventional imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast

Perform the quality control functions related to mammography

Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality obtaining additional images as needed.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Education: Associates Degree, Allied Health or Radiologic Technology

Experience: Minimum of 2 years imaging experience

Required Licensure and Certifications

ARRT (R)(M) and MRT#radtech #mammography #xray

Pay Range

$26.38 - $38.26 /hour
