　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Exciting opportunity in downtown Saint Louis! Hotel Saint Louis , a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, is looking for an experienced part-time Maintenance person to join our team. "Midwest Unexpected" describes our art-filled one-of-a-kind hotel. With this position you will be responsible for responding to all facilities service calls, performing preventative maintenance, painting, and necessary repairs to the hotel and restaurant equipment and assisting with hotel property.

　　Other duties include:

　　Ensure that afterhours access into secured hotel areas are properly authorized, monitored, and documented

　　Work with outside agencies (i.e., police and contractors)

　　Ensure all required repairs and maintenance is performed using proper equipment

　　Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment, fixtures, and other assets

　　Perform daily walk through of the property

　　Assist guests in the event of an emergency

　　Guest Services: 30%

　　Review hotel status and follow up actions with the previous shift employee

　　Ensure all non-hotel personnel arriving at employee entrance are properly escorted while on property

　　Provide escorts for guests or employees, if requested

　　Investigate all emergencies

　　Patrol the property with specified equipment, checking all designated points and document all actions taken

　　Resolve safety hazard situations

　　Ensure all guest room doors are secured; assist guests with room access

　　Investigate suspicious persons on hotel property

　　Respond to the scene of guest/employee accident promptly; administers first aid/CPR; AED (only if certified); communicate specified information to EMS/medical personnel as required

　　Administrative Tasks: 10%

　　Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/standard operating procedures/standards

　　Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended

　　Review shift reports and be familiar with pertinent information relevant to the daily shift

　　Contact the Maintenance Manager immediately for emergency situations

　　Maintain confidentiality of all security and hotel reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals

　　Qualifications

　　Maintenance experience/ minimum 1 year

　　Hotel experience preferred

　　Able to work some Saturdays with open availability

　　Able to work Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays mid shift

　　Able to pass a background check

　　Able to work independently or with a team

　　Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds (guest room furniture, maintenance equipment, carts, etc.)
