　　Job Description:

　　* Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph *

　　As part of the Facility Maintenance team, the Safety technician’s primary duties will be maintaining the overall safety and cleanliness of all site mechanical spaces and plants. Duties involve a combination of the following:

　　• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors: removing trash and general refuse;

　　Dusting furniture and fixtures, polishing metal fixtures and/or trimmings;

　　• Relocating Ladders, Pallets, and/or other materials.

　　• Cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.

　　• Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as deep-cleaning mechanical rooms, washing walls and glass, and removing additional rubbish.

　　• Perform Monthly Inspections on Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Eye wash stations, and AED’s.

　　• Perform walks of mechanical spaces to recognize and report any hazards identified.

　　• Duties may include performing routine equipment maintenance activities (vacuums, custodial hand tools, etc.), and notifying management of need for site repairs.

　　• Perform basic Facility maintenance repairs as needed.

　　-Generates work tickets and reports discrepancies. Keeps records and logs of cleaning events

　　Salary Rate: $25 to $27/hour + Fringe
